Ingredients
- 2 pound halibut steaks
- 1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon basil
- 1/3 cup finely dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup melted butter

Preparation
Step 1
Arrange halibut steaks in greased 2-quart glass dish with thick edges toward outside. Sprinkle with vinegar, salt, pepper and basil.
Microwave on high for 10 to 12 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
Combine crumbs and cheese, spread over steaks. Drizzle butter over top.
Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is just melted.
