Mini Pecan Tarts

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup gran. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • Filling:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2/3 c. dark Karo corn syrup
  • 1 cup powd. sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 24 + pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar. Add egg yolks, almond extract and flour. Press into

mini tart pan. Bake in 400° oven for 8-10 minutes.

Bring to boil: butter, Karo, powdered sugar. Sir in chopped pecans.

Spoon into shells. Top with pecan half.

Bake in 350° oven for 5 min.
