Stiffen Crocheted Items

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine water and sugar in a small pan. Place over low heat and stir until clear, not sugary. Don't let the mixture boil at any time. When it becomes clear, shut off the burner and let it cool.

Then wet the crocheted item with water and dab out an excess moisture with a towel and dip it into the mixture. Place in the shape you are looking for and let it dry!
