Pork Chops with Sauteed Apples & Onions

Ingredients
- 6 6-ounce boneless loin pork chops
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 1/2 pounds sliced onions
- 3/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 pound apples, cored and coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in nonstick oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork chops 3 - 4 minutes on each side until done. Set aside and keep warm.
Heat remaining oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and caraway seeds. Cook, stirring, until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
Add apples and cider vinegar. Cook, stirring, until apples are tender, about 8 minutes longer. Add walnuts and season with sea salt and pepper. Serve with pork chops.
