Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 lb. Italian sausage, casing removed, crumbled
- 1 jar (28 oz.) spaghetti bake (3 1/4 cups)
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cups of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese divided in half (one bag)
- 1/4 cup of Parmesan Cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Spray casserole dish, set aside
3. Cook spaghetti as directed on package
4. Brown sausage in medium skillet on medium heat
5. Drain sausage, return to pan and stir in sauce
6. Reduce heat to low, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
7. Drain spaghetti, place in large bowl
8. Add the egg, 1 cup of mozzarella and the ¼ cup parmesan cheese
9. Toss to coat.
10. Place mixture in casserole dish
11. Top with sausage mixture
12. Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese
13. Bake 15 minutes or until heated through
14. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting to serve
