***Spaghetti Sauce - Auntie Mimi’s/Auntie Mar’s, too

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cube butter
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb. ground chuck or sirloin
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 3 tbsp. red wine
  • 2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1-15 oz. can Homestead meat sauce
  • 1 sm can sliced black olives

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter with olive oil. Saute onions until soft, but not browned.

Add gr. beef and stir until cooked.

Add remaining ingredients except olives.

Simmer two hours.

Stir in olives and serve over hot spaghetti noodles.
