Ingredients
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 2 eggs
- 1 qt. Buttermilk
- Butter for the griddle
- PAPA IN NEVADA’S HOMEMADE SYRUP
- Brown Sugar
- Water
- Butter
- Put 1c. of brown in small saucepan over low heat.
- Add a little water at a time until warm and right consistency.
- Finish with a tablespoon (or two) of butter.
- Pour over pancakes.
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the eggs with the Bisquick, by hand. Add buttermilk a little at a time until batter is just right. Make test pancakes on griddle to check.

Get griddle hot,(it’s hot enough when water bubbles up and dances across the griddle) and run some butter over it. Pour pancake batter on and wait until bubbles develop on the pancake before turning over... we like them on the dark side....

Serve with butter and warm syrup.
