Ingredients
- 1 c shortening solid
- 2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 c flour
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Combine baking powder, salt baking soda and flour. Add alternately with milk, 1/3 each time, ending with milk. Mix well. Chill for 24 hours.
Drop a teaspoon in powered sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
