Ingredients
- chicken (however much you want)
- Flour
- Buttermilk
- Salt, pepper and celery salt
- 1 stick butter
- Olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse chicken well, then soak in buttermilk until well coated, then dredge heavily in flour mixed with spices. Lay out on waxed paper to dry for awhile.
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees, and melt butter with olive oil in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
When oil is hot and chicken is fairly dry, place chicken, metay side down in baking dish and bake, uncovered for about 30 minutes or until bottom of chicken is browned. Carefully turn chicken over and conntinue baking for about another 30 minutes until chicken is browned all over and tender.
