Chicken Parmigiana with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
  • 1 pouch Shake 'N Bake Extra Crispy Original Coating Mix
  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb/450g)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil tuscan Italian Dressing
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup Kraft Mozzarella Shredded Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 400F. Add Parmesan to coating mix in shaker bag; shake gently to combine. Coat chicken with Parmesan mixture, then bake as directed on package.

2. Meanwhile, cook onions and dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 4 min or until onions are crisp-tender. Stir in tomatoes; cook 2 to 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Stir in basil. Keep warm.

3. Top cihcken with sauce and cheese.

Serving suggestion: Serve with hot cooked rotini and steamed italian-style vegetables.
