How to boil perfect egg

1. Place eggs in the saucepan, it does not matter if it is 2 or 12 eggs, this way works. Just cover them with cold water, not too deep. DO NOT salt the water.

2. Place on burner on HIGH heat. One they start to boil turn on the timer for 3 minutes.

3. Once timer goes off quickly take off heat, put on the lid and reset timer for 8 minutes.

4. Take to sink and run cold water over them for about a minute, let them soak a bit to cool off. They will peel best if you set them in the refrigerator for about 1/2 to 1 hour.

Ingredients

  • The filling of this recipe is on the firm side. Add a tab more mayo if you like it a bit softer.
  • 6 hard cooked eggs, peeled and cut lengthwise
  • 1/4 cup light mayo or salad dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Paprika for garnish

Step 1

POP out the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with fork. Add all the ingredients except paprika. Fill the empty egg white shells with mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika.

Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
