Caramel Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 8 ounces tofutti cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup caramel chips
  • 2 graham cracker pie crusts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream margarine and cream cheese until smooth. Add brown sugar and corn syrup and beat until creamy. Add egg, baking soda, and vanilla, beating to combine after each addition.
3. Turn mixer to low and add flour. Beat until combined. Add caramel chips.
4. Divide batter between the two pie crusts. Bake for 45 minutes-an hour. Until the center is just set.
5. Freezes nicely. Serve warm with ice cream and caramel sauce and chips.
