Ingredients

  • 1

    bunch fresh broccoli

  • 3/4

    c. raisins

  • 1/4

    c. sunflower kernels, chopped walnuts or peanuts

  • 1/2

    c. diced red onion (opt)

  • 1/3

    c. mayonnaise

  • 1

    tbs granulatsed sugar

  • 1

    tbs apple cider vinegar

Directions

Separate broccoli into florets and dice stems to yield about 1 quart. Combine with raisins, sunflowers/nuts, and onion in large mixing bowl. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together until smooth. Add to salad mixture. Stir to coat all pieces with dressing. Cover and chill at least 2 hours or overnight before serving.
