Ingredients
- 4 cups rice crispy cereal
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
- 3 lbs. chicken pieces--boneless, skinless, washed and patted dry
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Place rice crispies in shallow dish
Stir in garlic powder. Set aside
In medium mixing bowl, beat the egg with milk, slightly. Add flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Mix until smooth. Dip chicken in egg batter then coat with cereal mixture until covered.
Place in a single layer, in shallow baking pan coated with cooking spray. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, or until chicken is tender. Do not cover pan or turn chicken while baking.
