Overnight Layered Salad (Irene Hannauer)

Ingredients

  • 8 hard boiled eggs, peeled,sliced
  • 2 c. shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 lb. bacon, cooked crisp, crumbled
  • 6 c. shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1-1/2 c Best Foods Mayonnaise
  • 3/4 c.chopped green onion
  • salt & pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Be sure lettuce is well drained and bacon and eggs are at room temperature.

In flat bottomed, straight sided bowl layer:

½ lettuce

(4) sliced eggs

Remaining lettuce

Bacon

Swiss Cheese

Spread mayonnaise evenly over entire top, sealing to edge of bowl to make air tight.

Sprinkle with green onion.

Cover with clear wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours.
