Ingredients
- 2 lbs round steak (tenderized)
- 3 Large sliced onions
- 1 Large chopped bell pepper
- 2 Stalks diced celery
- 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
- 2 Cans diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2-3 TBS Lite OO
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
Preparation
Step 1
Combine flour salt and pepper. Spreak on flat surface
Step 2
Lay meat over salt/pepper/flour and use a tenderizing mallet to pound meat and it will incorporate the salt/pepper/flour mixture into every crevace of the the meat (make sure to flip it over)! Cut into individual (med-med lg) pieces
Step 3
Heat oil in large skillet (roasting pan is also great) and brown meat in the hot oil
Step 4
Add tomatoes, veggies and garlic and cover and simmer about 2 hours or until tender.
Step 5
Serve with mashed potatoes or noodles
