Ingredients
- Cooking Spray
- 1 bag ( 32 oz) southern-style hash brown potatoes
- 2 C chopped ham
- 1 C frozen chopped onion
- 10 oz shredded swiss cheese, divided
- 1 jar (4.5 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 C whole milk
- 2 Tbs butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*. Coat a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine potatoes, ham, onion, half of the swiss cheese, the mushrooms, salt, and pepper, stir until combined.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, whisk together soup, milk, and melted butter. Add soup mixture to potato mixture, stirring to combine. Pour into baking dish and top with remaining swiss cheese.
Step 4
Bake for 35 minutes. Increase oven temperature to broil and broil for 5 minutes longer, or until cheese is lightly browned. Serve hot.
