Chocolate Cups with Caramel

Ingredients

  • 4 3/4 dark chocolate melts
  • 24 small confectionery cups
  • 2 2/3 ounces Mars bar, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 1 2/3 ounces white chocolate melts

Preparation

Step 1

Place dark chocolate in small heatproof bowl; stand bowl over pan of simmering water. Stir until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.

Step 2

Using a small paint brush, brush a thin layer of chocolate inside foil cases. Stand cases upside down on wire rack to set.

Step 3

Combine Mars bar and cream in small pan; stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Transfer to bowl; stand until just starting to set. Spoon caramel mixture into each cup leaving about 3mm of space at the top.

Step 4

Spoon reserved melted chocolate into caramel cases and allow chocolate to set. Melt white chocolate in the same way as dark chocolate. Place in a small paper piping bag. Drizzle patterns over the cups.
