Poultry: Mom's Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs chicken cooks and cut up
  • 2 packages long grain wild rice with seasoning
  • 1 pound hot sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 medium onions, chopped
  • 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 4 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • Pepperidge Farm seasoned stuffing

Preparation

Step 1

Cook chicken and rice

Step 2

Cook and drain sausage, crumble

Step 3

Saute onion and celery in some butter then add soup

Step 4

Divide soup mix between 2 9'X13' greased baking dishes

Step 5

Sprinkle chicken on top, spread rice on top of chicken and bread crumbs on top of rice. Dab with butter

Step 6

Cover with foil and bake 250 for 30-45 minutes
