Chicken and Leek Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. ground chicken
  • 8 oz. shitake mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 c chopped leeks
  • 3/4 t grated fresh ginger
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 T sesame oil
  • 1/2 t soy sauce
  • Wonton Wrappers

Preparation

Step 1

Cook chicken, mushrooms (optional), leek, ginger and garlic in sesame oil, until tender, about 7 minutes.

Step 2

Let cool, add soy sauce. Spoon filling in center of wrappers. Brush edges with water, fold and seal. Steam until translucent, about 8 minutes.
