Pork Chop Supreme

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and
  • thinly sliced
  • 1 pkg french onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Season both sides of pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat.

Step 4

Add the pork chops to the heated skillet and brown on both sides. Remove, and set aside.

Step 5

Layer the sliced potatoes on the bottom of a 9" x 13" baking dish.

Step 6

Place the browned pork chops on top of the potatoes.

Step 7

In a bowl, combine the milk, french onion soup mix, and the cream of mushroom soup.

Step 8

Pour the soup mixture over the pork chops and potatoes.

Step 9

Bake for 1 hour. Let cool slightly before serving.

I used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of onion soup and I thought it was very tasty.
