Ingredients
- EVOO
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes
- 2 T parsley flakes
- 1 T dried Oregano
- Salt
- 1 - 2 Cups dry red wine
Preparation
Step 1
Heat 2 T EVOO in the bottom of a heavy dutch oven over medium heat
Add garlic and stir until fragrant about 1 minute
Add tomatoes and stir to prevent garlic from burning
Add 2 t salt to help tomatoes further break down
Add parsley, oregano and wine stir will
Allow to simmer for up to 2 hours to reduce and thicken.
