Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 4 tsps flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1.25lbs. raw boneless skinless chicken breast tenderloins
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1/2 cup cornflake crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

pre heat the oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper & set aside.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the flour & paprika. Place chicken strips in gallon ziplock bag and add the flour/ paprika mixture. Seal the bag & shake to coat chicken.
3. In a shallow dish, beat egg whites and set aside. In separate shallow dish, stir together the cornflake crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne, onion powder & garlic powder.
4. One at a time, take the flour- coated chicken strips and coat them in the egg whites and then press them into the dish of cornflake crumbs and flip so that both sides are coated in crumbs. Transfer the crumb - coated strips to prepared baking dish.
5. When all the chicken tenders are coated & on the baking sheet, spray the tops of them with cooking spray and place in oven to bake for 18 -20 minutes until cooked through.
