Ingredients
- Patties:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 chopped onion
- 1 tbsp worchestire
- 1 tbsp Rusty Sled Blend
- 1/2 tbsp Burnt Canoe Blend
- oil for frying
- Sauce:
- 1/2 onion diced
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/4 cups beef broth
- 2 tsp worchestire
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/2 tbsp water
Preparation
Step 1
Place breadcrumbs in bowl. In blend or processor process egg, onion, sauce until pureed. Add to the crumbs with the seasoning. Mix well with ground beef and form 5 patties. Frie in oil till cooked. Transfer to a plate.
Step 2
Keep the pan drippings. Add onion to pan along with mushrooms and saute till soft and juices released. Add beef broth and simmer 5 minutes. Add corn starch and stir till thick. Add patties back into mixture and reheat.
Step 3
Serve with mashed potatoe and a veggie.
