Ingredients

  • 12 oz grated chedder cheese
  • 12 oz grated American cheese
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoon butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Combine cheese in a large bowl. Reserve 2 cups for the topping.

Boil elbow macaroni in salted water according to package directions, drain & rinse.

Combine macaroni, cheese, cayenne & milk. Place in greased casserole dish and top with 2 cups reserved shredded cheese. Dot top of casserole with 2 Tablespoons of butter. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F for 45 minutes.
