Ingredients
- 2 lbs sirloin steak
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 sp sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves grated
- 1 1/2 inch peeled ginger root
- 2 tbs rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 12-16 oz bag frozen broccoli
- 3 cups cooked rice
Preparation
Step 1
Place steak in slow cooker . In a bowl whisk together the beef broth, so sauce, brown sugar, oil, vinegar, scallions and pepper flakes. pour over the steak and set to high for 3 hours.
take steak out of cook and set aside
remove 1 cup of the sauce from the cooker and whisk in cornstarch. Pour back into the cooker with the rest of the liquid.
cut steak in to strips and add back to cooker
place broccoli in cooker stir and cook on high for 1 hour.
serve over rice
