Ingredients
- 5 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 1/2 Cup Mashed Banana (2 bananas)
- 1 3/4 Cup Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/8 Cup Milk (can substitute with cream)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. Beat butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer, at medium speed, until light and fluffy. Add sugars, beat well. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until well blended. Add bananas and beat on high speed for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder in medium bowl. Add flour mixture to butter mixture , alternating with milk, ending with flour mixture.
Step 3
Pour batter in loaf pan and bake until browned and toothpick near center comes out clean, about 60 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
