Ingredients
- 1 16 oz package of lil smokies sausages (hillshire farms)
- 15 slices of bacon each cut into 3 smaller sections
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper ( I only use a pinch)
- pinch of black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
prepare a jelly roll or large baking sheet with a rim, with a layer of aluminu, foil, lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray, and set aside preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Pat sausages dry with a paper towel and wrap each with individual sausage with a peice of bacon. Secure with toothpick
Step 3
Add brown sugar, cayenne pepper, and black pepper to a large resealable platic bag. Use a spoon to combine the sugar with the seasonings. Add several sausages, seal bag and shake gently to coat. Repeat with remaining sausages
Step 4
Line sausages on the baking pan and bake 30 - 35 minutes, until bacon is browned. For some extra crispiness, broil for a couple of minutes after baking.
