Hot artichoke spinach dip

This hot dip is favored by families and friends so it always appears On my party menus. To avoid last minute Fuss I assemble it in the night before and bake it when I need it the next day

Ingredients

  • Half cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • Two packages 10 ounces each frozen spinach thawed
  • One can (14 ounces) water powered artichoke hearts
  • Rinsed drained and chopped
  • 1 cup (4 ounce )shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Half teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • Half teaspoon minced fresh tyme
  • Half teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • One garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese grated
  • Toasted baguette sliced or pita chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a small skillet cook onions in butter until tender set aside in a large In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the onion spinach artichoke Monterey jack cheese and Swiss cheese Worcester shire sauce Cajun seasoning Tyme hot pepper sauce and garlic

Step 2

Transfer to greased one and a half quart baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly around the edges

Step 3

Top with Parmesan cheese broil for 6 inches from the heat for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown serve warm with baguette slices or pita chips refrigerate leftovers
