Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp salted butter
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 tsp Xanthan gum
- Salt
- Pepper
- Grated Parmesan for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef 7-10 minutes, stirring and breaking it up with a spatula, until cooked through. Drain the fat and transfer the meat to a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 2
In same skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the onion, mushrooms, and garlic, and cook 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until the garlic is browned and the onion & mushrooms are tender.
Step 3
Add the broth, browned beef, sour cream, and xanthan gum to the skillet and cook 3-5 minutes, stirring until the sauce is combined and thickened.
Step 4
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan.
