Ingredients
- 6 Slices of bread with crust removed
- 1 LB Sausage
- 2 Cups shredded cheese
- 10 Eggs
- 3 Cups Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
- 1 Onion Chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Spray a 9 x 13 x 2 inch casserole dish
Step 2
In large skillet, cook sausage with the onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly cooked and no longer pink.
Step 3
In large bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until thoroughly combined.
Step 4
Evenly distribute the bread into the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle with half the cheese, and half the sausage. Repeat layers.
Step 5
Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole
Step 6
Cover and refrigerate overnight, or bake immediately
Step 7
When you're ready to bake the casserole, preheat oven to 325 F. Bake uncovered for 55-60 minutes, or until eggs are set. If the top begins to brown too quickly, loosely cover the casserole dish with foil
