Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 box chocolate or chocolate fudge cake mix

- Filling:
- 14 ounces frozen coconut
- 16 regular marshmallows
- 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar

- Icing:
- 4 squares unsweetened or bittersweet chocolate
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- dash Salt
- 1/4 cup butter
Preparation
Step 1
Bake cake as directed and split layers. Mix milk, sugar and marshmallows; melt. Stir until sugar is dissolved and marshmallows melted. Remove from heat and stir in coconut. Put this mixture between each split layer and on top.
Make Icing. Melt chocolate with the brown sugar; add salt, water, and butter. Simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Put chocolate icing on top and sides of cake.
