Ingredients
- 16 slices bacon
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- Black pepper (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with foil and place metal racks on top of the foil. Arrange bacon in a single layer on the racks and sprinkle with the sugar and pepper, if using.
Bake until the sugar has melted into a glaze and the bacon is crisp, 15-18 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
