Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • Filling
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cans water chestnuts, diced
  • 1/4 cup almonds (optional)
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 bunch green onions, diced
  • 1 head butter lettuce, romaine, or iceberg
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoon seasame oil

Preparation

Step 1

Dice all veggies to get a small, fine texture, using a food processor or sharp knife.
Saute turkey until brown and cooked throughout. Add veggies and continue to cook until al dente. Remove from heat.
Combine wet ingredients to form a sauce, and add to your veggie meat mixture.
Take a leaf of lettuce and fill with ingredients. Wrap, eat, enjoy!
