Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 (15 oz can) tomato sauce
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 tbs Dijon mustard
- 1 tbs dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 chickens, cut into 6 pieces (4 chicken breasts)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 8 ingredients in a heavy saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with black pepper. Preheat oven to 375°. Place chicken in a large baking pan and brush with some of the sauce. Roast until cooked through - basting occasionally with more sauce - for about 1 hour. Serve hot.
