Ingredients
- CHINESE STYLE MUSTARD DIPPING SAUCE
- 2 Tbsp. Chinese mustard powder
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2/3 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 cup honey
- 1 tea. sesame oil
- CREAMY MUSTARD SAUCE
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. ground mustard
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise

CHINESE STYLE DIPPING SAUCE: Dissolve mustard powder in the water, add the other ingredients and whisk until smooth. The mixture will taste bitter and acrid at first; until the powdered mustard reconstitutes, but will mellow as it sits. Prepare one hour in advance.
CREAMY MUSTARD: In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and mustard until smooth. Add water, vinegar, and sugar; mix well. Bring to a boil; cook nad stir for 2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat; add mayonnaise and mix well.
