Apple-Pecan Crisp

  • 1 pound apples, cored and cut into 1/4”-wide wedges
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup plain granola
  • 1/4 cup chopped orange-flavored prunes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup pecans, broken

Step 1

Heat oven to 375°F with rack in center position.

Toss apples in bowl with lemon juice, honey, and flour. Transfer to oiled 2-quart shallow baking dish and top with the rest of the ingredients.

Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes. Uncover and bake until apples are tender, about 15 minutes longer.
