Meatloaf with Baby Food 1 Picture


  • 1 lb ground beef, pork, veal or combo of all
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, diced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp crushed thyme
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp A-1 steak sauce
  • 3-4 containers strained baby food veggies of your choice (i.e., carrots, string beans, squash and sweet potatoes)

Step 1

Combine all
Form into loaf in bread loaf pan
Top with slices of green or red pepper, slice onions or both
Pour beef stock over top and around loaf to about 2"
Add 1/2 tsp gravy master
Roast at 350 degrees for about an hour
=Thicken gravy by pouring sauce into small saucepan, simmer, whisk in slurry of 2 tbs cornstarch to 1/3 cup water.
