Ingredients
- 1 baked 9 inch pie shell
- 3/4 cup cooked turkey, chopped
- 1/4 cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained well
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch nutmeg, freshly-grated
- 1 pinch salt

Step 1
Arrange turkey in a baked pie shell. Top with mushrooms, cheese, and onions.
In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 375°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
Serve with a tossed salad and buttermilk biscuits, if desired.
