Ingredients
- CAKE
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeb
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1-16 ounce can solid-pack pumpkin
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- CARAMEL SAUCE
- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- pinch salt
- 1-1/4 cups water
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extact

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13X9 baking pan.
CAKE
In a mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, beat eggs, pumpkin and oil until smooth; add dry ingredients. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute. Pour into a greased 13X9 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
SAUCE
Combine brown sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan. Stir in water and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Cut cake into squares and serve with war5m sauce.
