Ingredients

    cups all-purpose flour

    cups sugar

    tsp baking soda

  • 2

    tsp ground cinnamon

    tsp ground nutmeb

    tsp salt

    eggs

  • 1-16 ounce can solid-pack pumpkin

  • 1

    cup vegetable oil

  • CARAMEL SAUCE

  • 1-1/2

    cups packed brown sugar

  • 3

    Tbsp all-purpose flour

  • pinch salt

  • 1-1/4

    cups water

  • 2

    Tbsp butter

  • 1/2

    tsp vanilla extact

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13X9 baking pan. CAKE In a mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, beat eggs, pumpkin and oil until smooth; add dry ingredients. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute. Pour into a greased 13X9 baking pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. SAUCE Combine brown sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan. Stir in water and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cut cake into squares and serve with war5m sauce.
