Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground round or ground sirloin
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 peppers (red and green) chopped
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 3 cups water
- 1 package dry onion soup
- 1 can beef broth
- 1/2 cup brown rice (uncooked)
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef with chopped onion, add all of the other ingredients. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer 40 minutes or so. Serve with grated cheese.
