Ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 stick of butter
- 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- Filling:
- 2 -8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 -box confectioner sugar (16 oz.)
- 1 -12 oz. cool whip
- Glaze:
- 1 container of strawberry pie filling glaze, usually in veg. or fresh fruit department
- 2 - containers of fresh strawberries, sliced
- sugar to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in oven in 9 x 12 inch dish, take out add 2 cups flour and nuts mix in same pan and press in bake pan. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes, take out and let cool completely.
Mix the cream cheese and conf. sugar together with mixer, be careful it's thick then fold in the cool whip until mix. Add on top of the cake.
Pour topping on top of the cream cheese mix. Refrigerate.
