Overnight French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 12 sliced bread
  • 5 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Make this the night before serving.
Melt butter in 9x13-inch pan; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Put bread in pan in 2 layers; squeeze in or cut to fit. Beat eggs well and add salt and milk. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night.
In the morning, remove cover; bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove promptly from pan and serve upside down. Yield:8 servings.
