Ingredients
- Filling:
- 4 c. self rising flour (or all purpose with 1 tsp. baking powder)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter (8 tbsp.)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- strawberry or raspberry jams
- 2/3 cup whipping cream whipped

Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour and salt into bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs. Add sugar and mix to a soft dough with milk. Turn into lightly floured board. Knead quickly, roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into 20 - 2 1/2 inch rounds. Brush tops with egg or milk. Bake on greased sheet 8-10 minutes.
