Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup buttermilk

Step 1

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. The batter will be slightly lumpy. Place in greased muffin tins full and bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
