Ingredients

  • 3 small yellow potatoes (about 12 oz.)
  • 2 persimmons (firm Fuyu, about 9 oz.)
  • 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1 garlic clove (small, mashed)
  • 1 pinch cumin (1/3 t. or less)
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying
