Grasshopper Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (24) crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 (7 oz) jar of marshmallow creme
  • Few drops peppermint extract
  • Few drops green food coloring
  • 2 cups Cool Whip

Preparation

Step 1

Combine crumbs and butter; reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of 9" springform pan or 8-9" round cake pan. Chill.

Gradually add milk to marshmallow creme, mixing until well blended. Add extract and food coloring, then fold in Cool Whip.

Pour into pan; freeze until firm. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Serve frozen.
