Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring

Step 1

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl put aside.
Cream butter, sugar together. Add vanilla
Add eggs and oil then milk and vinegar. Mix well then add food coloring. Then add all dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.

Bake at 350 degrees until done when tooth pick inserted comes out clean about 30 mins.
