Ingredients
- 6 Firm ripe bananas
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1/3 cup corn starch
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg white at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Oil for frying

Step 1
Peel bananas, split and cut in half
In small bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, bk powder and salt. Add milk and whisk until smooth
In separate bowl using a hand mixer, beat the egg white until soft peaks form. Fold into batter
Using candy thermometer, heat oil to 375. Place 1/2 cup sugar in medium bowl. Line a tray with paper towels.
Drop the bananas in the batter and turn to coat; carefully ease them into the hot oil. About 30 seconds per side. Remove with slotted spoon.
Maintain at 375
Once brown on both sides drain on paper towels then toss immediately in the sugar.
Serve hot with ice cream..
